Startingfrom Within to Foster Low-Carbon Awareness
As a company provides a full range of supply chain and service solutions for product development, Life & Living recognizes that promoting sustainability begins with internal management. Although it does not own factories, the company is focused on quantifying and managing office carbon emissions, hoping to positively influence its partners through concrete actions.
Over the next five years, Life & Living plans to use the S-Carbon platform to establish a robust data foundation for Scope 1 (direct emissions) and Scope 2 (energy indirect emissions), with aspirations to extend its efforts to Scope 3 (other indirect emissions). S-Carbon’s capabilities in carbon footprint measurement, data analysis and report generation will provide objective data to support the company’s low-carbon management goals.

Offering Recycled Materials to Meet Sustainability Needs
Life & Living is committed to providing sustainable product solutions and has introduced over 11 recycled materials for customer selection. “These materials not only meet the market's demand for low-carbon options but also enable customers to make environmentally responsible business decisions,” said Gavin Yuen, Senior Manager at Life & Living. By promoting low-carbon materials and sustainable product development, Life & Living helps clients achieve international carbon reduction targets while minimizing the environmental impact of the supply chain.
Implementing Low-Carbon Management Internally
Life & Living actively promotes low-carbon management in its branch offices through the following actions:
- Promoting Green Office Practices: Encouraging employees to set central air conditioning temperatures above 26°C and using energy-efficient equipment such as carbon footprint tracking multifunction printer.
- Data Analysis and Benchmarking: Establishing seasonal and annual electricity usage baselines to ensure that actions are measurable, trackable, and comparable.
- Green Property Management: Encouraging property management companies to adopt energy-saving measures, further influencing other neighboring companies to participate in low-carbon initiatives.
