About Life & Living
HAUSCO Enterprises was established in Taiwan in 1989. It later integrated its business strengths and resources to found Life & Living International Ltd., which would go on to become a leading household item OEM/ODM service provider. In 1997, Life & Living moved its HQ to Hong Kong as a first step to expanding its international reach. Following, the company set up operations centers in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China. In 2013, Life & Living restructured to offer a full range of international supply chain and service solutions covering design, innovation, development, supply chain management, quality control, and shipping.
Through Life & Living’s core values of reliability, sincerity, professionalism, and innovation, we continually strive to uphold the spirit of “Sustain Life & Living” in all our decisions and actions. Our goal is to provide every family with a quality home and improve overall quality of life. By taking the needs of our customers and their families as our starting point, we strive to provide products and services that exceed customer expectations through continuous innovation and a commitment to environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

Starting as an OEM of household items and commissioned designs, today Life & Living offers a range of services that far exceeds the products themselves. We provide a host of comprehensive services, including market analysis, innovation in design, and sustainable material development. We strive to combine functionality, design and environmental protection to enhance brand and product value. We integrate the best in resources to provide our customers with a full range of complete solutions, assisting international brands and channels in finding their voice in a global market and helping to maintain their competitive advantages in a rapidly changing business eco-system.
Our commitment to the environment and society is reflected in Life & Living’s promotion and use of sustainable materials, our efforts to reduce carbon emissions, and our advocacy for the circular economy through the application of environmentally friendly and recycled materials — all aimed at enhancing the sustainability of our products.
In May 2025, Life & Living officially became a Certified B Corporation, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing ESG journey. This achievement reinforces our dedication to balancing environmental responsibility with business growth.
We remain aligned with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, with a particular focus on SDG 8: “Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all” and SDG 12: “Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.” Together with our customers and suppliers, we strive to foster a more sustainable and responsible way of life.

Our founder, Chris Lin, established HAUSCO in Taipei with the trust of clients, offering OEM/ODM services for premium homeware products.

1997
Hausco established its head office in Hong Kong, expanding global operations.
2002
Dongguan office opened to reinforce supply chain management in China.
2006
Ningbo office launched to optimize regional operations and resource allocation.
2007
JIA, a brand under L&L, established in Hong Kong, offering home products inspired by Chinese traditions, family values, and thoughtful design.

2012
JIA head office launched in Taipei. L&L implemented ERP/PDM systems to enhance supply chain operations and risk management.
2013
Life & Living International Ltd. founded, providing a full range of supply chain and service solutions on product development.

2015
EIP system launched to boost operations and resource sharing. QC team completed Intertek inspection training, enhancing quality control and standards.
2016
Started using E-invoicing in Taipei to reduce paper use, printing, and delivery needs, while improving invoice efficiency.
2017
Began collaboration with the aviation industry, providing high-quality in-flight products
2018
L&L began its sustainable journey, sourcing products made from recycled materials and aligning with ESG principles.
2019
The Purchase Dept earned CPPM and CPI-certified CSR Auditor credentials. Shipped the first order of cookware made from recycled cast iron.
2020
Focused on ESG supplier development, launched patented Microwave stainless steel, earned GRS certification for R-PP, and received orders for recycled cookware.
2021
Released UL-certified 100% recycled cutlery. Enhanced social responsibility by transitioning public welfare efforts from private initiatives to corporate-level support.
2022
Gained recycled plastic certification. QC managers completed GRS/RCS training from BV.
2023
China operations adopted e-invoicing to reduce waste and emissions, improving sustainability.
2024
Began B Corp application. Migrated servers to IDC centers, cutting energy use and improving disaster recovery. Introduced volunteer leave. QC managers achieved ACI CPPM certification. Signed MOU to adopt SGS S-Carbon platform, reinforcing low-carbon commitment.
2025
Certified as a B Corporation™, reinforcing commitment to responsible business.
